Fu Jun
Professor and doctoral advisor at the School of Materials Science and Engineering, Sun Yat-sen University. Served as a member of the Biomedical Polymer Branch of the Chinese Society of Biomaterials for the second and third terms, as vice chairman of the Hydrogel Material Branch of the Chinese Materials Research Society, director of the Guangdong Functional Biomaterials Technology Research Center, vice chairman of the Implant Devices and Advanced Manufacturing Branch of the Guangdong Society of Biomedical Engineering, deputy editor-in-chief of the international journal J Polymer Science, and editorial board member for the Journal of Materials Chemistry B and Materials Advances. Finalist of the Hundred Talents Program of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Zhejiang Provincial Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, and the Hundred Talents Program of Sun Yat sen University. He graduated from the Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and studied at the Max Planck Institute of Polymers in Germany and the Massachusetts General Hospital affiliated to Harvard Medical School in the United States.
The main research direction is high-performance medical raw materials, including: High strength and wear-resistant ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene material, applied to artificial joints, which fills the domestic gap; Hydrogel biomaterials, applied in flexible electronic devices, tumor radiotherapy, articular cartilage regeneration and repair, etc.
As the person in charge or a key member, he undertook projects such as the National Biomedical Materials Innovation Task List, National Biomedical Materials Industrialization Demonstration Platform, National Key R&D Program, National Natural Science Foundation of China, Zhejiang Outstanding Youth Fund, etc., and partially realize the industrialization transformation of the results. So far, more than 150 papers have been published in journals such as Advanced Materials, Advanced Functional Materials, Chemical Engineering Journal, Materials Horizons, etc. He has published 1 English monograph, obtained 1 US invention patent and 44 Chinese invention patents and compiled 1 group standard.
